Amélie Racine:

Amélie Racine, analyst

Several years after finishing my bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, I worked with the Tourism Intelligence Network as part of the Young Professionals International (YPI) program in 2005-2006. As part of my work, I conducted a study on bicycle touring in Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands.

My atypical career path has enabled me to explore several sectors of the tourism industry. As an analyst, I now have the privilege of satisfying my curiosity by monitoring and collecting information about the entire industry. I am fascinated by the contribution of technology to the field of tourism and sensitive to the need to direct our actions towards sustainable models. I am also impressed by the creativity that enables business leaders from here and elsewhere to make a name for themselves and continue to develop innovative practices and management styles.

“Travelling by foot is a way of seeing the world that teaches us to be humble and live in the moment.” Philippe Montillier
